Since our humble beginnings in 1994 with just nine students and mentors, Operation Jump Start (OJS) has grown into a lifeline for over 325 students annually from the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD).

For three decades, we’ve provided critical support—mentoring, academic tutoring, college guidance, socio-emotional counseling, scholarships, and more—to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams of higher education.
