Mental Health and Wellness Program and Services

To our students – our Mental Health and Wellness Program is here to cater to your individual needs. Your emotional and mental well-being is of utmost importance to us, and we want to ensure you have the tools and resources necessary to thrive academically and personally.

Our dedicated team of counselors are certified as Mental Health First Aiders and are currently working on their Graduate Degrees in Social Work from various universities. Our mental health first aid professionals are here to offer confidential support in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Whether you are struggling with academic stress, managing relationships, or facing personal challenges, we are here to listen and help.

Individual Counseling

Meet one-on-one with a counselor to explore your concerns, set goals, and work towards a happier and healthier you.

Group/Peer Counseling

Engage in supportive group sessions that allow you to connect with peers facing similar challenges, fostering a sense of community and understanding. This type of counseling is only offered to our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.

Workshops and Seminars

Join informative workshops and seminars that address various mental health topics, equipping you with valuable coping strategies and life skills.

Crisis Support

Brief Bio – joined Operation Jump Start in 2009. She received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She also holds an MBA from Eastern University.
